Slot Machine Strategies

There is very little to say about the strategies involved in slot machines, as any genuine slot machine will definitely be unpredictable. For that is the essence of the instrument. The old model instruments had only one strategy to win that would be to keep drawing until the machine tilts as in the case of the Japanese instruments. These machines are progressive and as more and more draws are done they have a greater probability of getting the correct combination.

Such strategy may also work on the mechanical models but the electronic models use processors, which determines the winning probability. This is completely luck based and no amount of strategy is applicable to this model. Indeed most such instruments have luck evading strategies inbuilt in them that makes it hard for the combination to fall.

For instance if XXX is the combination then when the instrument reaches XX the third combination is made to be twice as improbable while the first two X are made to be highly probable. This gives an impression that the player had lost just by one slot and increases their urge to play again. Such machines are banned in many countries and yet they have been found widely in many casinos robbing the gambler off their money. The one good strategy in this game is not to get addicted to it as it involves no skill from the gamblers part.

There are a few slot machines that operate on a lottery system where many machines are connected to each other and all the gamblers compete for one prize, this is completely similar to lottery and there is only the probability of winning the lottery involved in this. The ideal strategy in slot machine would be to wait for someone to lose loads of money in one machine and then to occupy that machine and keep trying.

Though crude this is the only method that has been successful in the case of the slot machine especially the mechanical ones. The electronic ones have limited strategies, choose a three or five slot machine rather than an impressive ten slot machine, place bets in small amounts rather than losing it all in a single stroke and if the instrument shows that you have lost just by one slot more than once then it would be wise to avoid that machine. If there are many slot machines in an aisle then there will be only one or two winning machines and many would just be idle machines that have low winning probability.

The trick is to identify the winning machine for it would be the one that usually ends up tilting at the casinos peak hour to make the people even more frantic in their efforts to win. Usually the simplest machine would be the ideal bet. Above all strategies and planning there is always the factor of luck, which may act for or against us in a gamble.
